Special Student Assistance Scheme (SSAS)
The ITE Special Student Assistance Scheme (SSAS) is a one-off financial assistance to tide students over short-term financial difficulties, including serving as a bridging support before they receive their CDC & CCC-ITE Bursary Award. It also serves as a form of transitional financial assistance to help students tide over sudden financial crisis in the family, so that they can continue with their studies.

The quantum of award shall be decided by the College on a case-by-case basis (typically in the range of $150 to $200).
Eligibility Criteria
  • Is a Singapore Citizen full-time student;
  • Has a gross monthly household income (GHI) equal/or less than $2500 or a gross monthly household per capita income (PCI) equal/or less than $625; and
  • Is not a recipient of a full scholarship/sponsorship.
How to Apply

STEP 1:
Online Application via ITE Student Portal: http://myportal.ite.edu.sg 

Key in User ID and Password > Click on ‘iStudent/myExam’ > ‘Financial Assistance’ > Select ‘Financial Assistance’ > ‘Next’ > Key in ‘Particulars of Family Member(s)’ > Click ‘Submit’.

STEP 2:
Applicants are required to submit supporting income documents e.g. latest original payslip, latest 6 months’ CPF Contribution History, Divorce Certificate (if applicable) to the Student & Career Services Centre at Blk A Level 3.

As the financial assistance monies are credited into the applicant’s account via GIRO, applicants have to make arrangement for bank’s endorsement on the GIRO form and submit it to the Student & Career Services Centre. The GIRO form is available at the Student & Career Services Centre.

Status of Bursary Application
Applicants may check the application status via the ITE Student Portal about 4 weeks after the submission.
