Brief Outline
The new CCA marking scheme, PRAISE in short, will include Participation, Representation, Achievement, Leadership, Service and Enrichment. With the inclusion of Enrichment and Service, CIP and Enrichment hours will now contribute directly to the students'  total CCA marks and GPA Advantage Point.
Tabulation of CCA Marks
Students can obtain between 1-5 marks for the Participation, Enrichment and Service categories and 2-10 marks from the Representation, Achievement and Leadership categories depending on the level of accomplishment at the respective category’s requirements.
Effective Date of System
The scheme will be effective from the January 2013 intake onwards. The current 2nd years will complete their course based on the old scheme.

A new IT system will be developed to support the new marking scheme. It will also allow students to keep track of their progress via their Student Portal.
