MOE Bursary

The MOE Bursary is a financial assistance scheme applicable for full-time students who do not meet the criteria for CDC & CCC-ITE Bursary but have a gross monthly household income (GHI) that does not exceed $9,000 or gross monthly household per capita income (PCI) that does not exceed $2,250.

Students may apply for the bursary at any time during an academic year. Each award is for one year.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Is a subsidised Singapore Citizen student studying full-time in the Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma courses at ITE;
  • Has a gross monthly household income (GHI) equal/or less than $9000 or a gross monthly household per capita income (PCI) equal/or less than $2,250 at the time of application; and
  • Is not in receipt of any other full scholarship with annual living and other allowance (excluding course fees payment) of more than $5,000 a year.

How to apply

STEP 1:
Online Application via ITE Student Portal: http://myportal.ite.edu.sg 

Key in User ID and Password > Click on ‘iStudent/myExam’ > ‘Financial Assistance’ > Select ‘Financial Assistance’ > ‘Next’ > Key in ‘Particulars of Family Member(s)’ > Click ‘Submit’.

STEP 2:
Applicants are required to submit supporting income documents e.g. latest original payslip, latest 6 months’ CPF Contribution History, Divorce Certificate (if applicable) to the Student & Career Services Centre at Blk A Level 3.

As the financial assistance monies will be credited into the applicant’s account via GIRO, applicants have to make arrangement for bank’s endorsement on the GIRO form. The GIRO form is available at the Student & Career Services Centre.

Status of Bursary Application:
Applicants may check the application status via the ITE Student Portal in mid Apr, end Jul, end Oct and end Jan, depending on the application period.
