New Student Applying for the ITE Student Concession Card

If you are a new student studying for the first time at ITE,  you need to submit to us a recent photo for application to make the ITE Student Concession Card. You will receive your ITE Student Concession Card within 4 to 6 weeks after your application.

What do I need  to upload?
The guidelines for the photo are that it must be:
- be in colour, taken against plain white background without shadow
- be taken within the last 3 months
- show the full face without headgear (see sample photo below)
- show that your hair is neatly combed or tied up and must be of  natural colour
- not showing any outrageous earrings



Do ensure that your photo image file meets these TransitLink's requirements:
- The photo must be saved in this format: NRIC.jpg (e.g. T123456A.jpg)
- The dimension of the photo image must  be 240 x 320 pixels
- The file size should be about 150KB

Do note that you cannot change the photo once submitted.

How do I need  to upload?
During course acceptance, use the link provided for course acceptance to upload your photo.

After course acceptance, upload your photo online at https://myportal.ite.edu.sg/photo

When do I upload?
During course acceptance or within 1 month after course acceptance.

For new Jan 2019 intake student, if you hold a valid MOE Secondary Concession Card, you may extend the card till 31 Mar 2019 at the following venues:
1. Add Value Machines
2. General Ticketing Machines
3. Concession Card Replacement Office
4. Transit link Ticket Office
5. Passenger Service Centre

Extension of Concession Expiry Date

If your concession expires before you complete your course, you may go to the Student & Career Services Centre at Blk A Level 3 to apply for extension.

Replacement of Expired ITE Student Concession Card
You may go to Student & Career Services Centre at Blk A Level 3 to collect an Appendix H form to apply for replacement. Student may subsequently bring the Appendix H form to apply for an immediate replacement at any Concession Card Replacement Office. However, a replacement fee will be imposed by TransitLink.
Replacement of Lost ITE Student Concession Card

You may contact TransitLink at 1800-2255-663 and apply for an immediate replacement at any Concession Card Replacement Office with the following:

(1) Original NRIC/Passport for Singapore citizens; or Original NRIC/Re-entry Permit for Singapore Permanent Residents; or Original Student Pass (FIN) for foreign students;
(2) One coloured passport-sized photo that was taken within the last 3 months (see note); or School Smartcard / ITE Student Concession card (if applicable); and
(3) $23 for replacement fee ($18) together with the minimum travel value ($5).

Photograph must fulfil the following criteria:
- Taken in school uniform
- Taken against a white background, coloured passport size
- Hair must be neatly combed or tied up
- Image must show full face from chin to crown of the head

Operating Hours: 10am to 6pm Daily, Closed on Public Holidays.
*Bukit Panjang and Somerset Card Replacement Office will be closed for meal break from 2pm to 3pm

Besides Concession Card Replacement Offices, concession card holders who have lost their concession cards may also choose to replace their cards via TransitLink online e-Services as well as TransitLink Mobile Services app. For further details, please click here.
